This Privacy Policy applies to StageWhisper (“App”), a premium mobile application for iOS and Android operated by the developer based in Tokyo, Japan (“Developer”, “we”, “us”).

1. No Personal Data Collection

StageWhisper is designed as a privacy-first application. The App:

  • Does not collect or process personally identifiable information (PII).
  • Does not collect names, email addresses, contact details, or payment information.
  • Does not collect location data.
  • Does not collect device identifiers (including IDFA, Advertising ID, IMEI, or similar identifiers).
  • Does not use cookies, fingerprinting, or cross-app tracking.
  • Does not provide user accounts.
  • Contains no advertising and no third-party tracking SDKs.

2. Local On-Device Storage

User preferences (such as timer settings and onboarding completion status) are stored strictly locally on your device using platform-native storage mechanisms (iOS UserDefaults / Android SharedPreferences).

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to the Developer.

3. Anonymous Telemetry (Aptabase)

The App uses Aptabase for strictly anonymized telemetry for product improvement purposes.

  • No PII is collected.
  • No device identifiers are used.
  • No cookies or fingerprinting are used.
  • A random, non-persistent session ID is generated and resets on each app launch.
  • Data is transmitted via encrypted HTTPS.

Telemetry consists solely of anonymized usage events (e.g., app lifecycle events, screen views, timer configuration parameters, and session actions). Such data cannot identify an individual.

4. GDPR Compliance

To the extent the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, telemetry is processed on the basis of legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) for application reliability and improvement. The data processed is anonymized and not attributable to an identified or identifiable person.

5. CCPA / CPRA Compliance

The App does not collect “personal information” as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). Accordingly:

  • No personal information is sold or shared.
  • No cross-context behavioral advertising occurs.
  • No personal data is retained by the Developer.

6. International Data Transfers

Anonymous telemetry may be transmitted to Aptabase servers located in the United States or the European Union. Such transfers do not involve personal data.

7. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13. No personal data is knowingly collected from any individual.

8. Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Updates will be reflected by revising the Effective Date.
